TIPS FOR ENTERING EVENTS IN THE CALENDAR

'ORGANIZATION' AND 'NAME OF EVENT' Enter EITHER the organization name in the "Organization" box, OR the event name in the "Name of Event" box ... Choose the fewest words, 4-5, that best summarize the event content; save details for the "Event Description" box. 'EVENT DESCRIPTION' Keep your description concise by avoiding duplication of information ... the date & time, event address, contact information, URL & ticket price should be entered in the boxes indicated for that data and should not entered here. 'EVENT ADDRESS' Enter street address. If there is a venue for the event, such as City Hall, the Hult Center, McNail-Riley House, etc., enter that in the first box, and the street address in the second box. If the event is held in Eugene, please do not enter anything in the city or zip code boxes. Use the city box only for cities outside of Eugene. Do not enter anything in the state box unless the event is held outside of Oregon. 'YOUR NAME/EMAIL ADDRESS' Enter your name & email address here only if you are NOT the contact for the event; otherwise, leave these boxes blank. 'EVENT CONTACT NAME/EMAIL/PHONE' Enter information for the person viewers can contact for further information about the event. Do not include phone area code unless it is NOT 541 in Eugene. 'EVENT URL' Enter the website address of the organization or event, if applicable. 'TICKETS' Enter ticket prices, if applicable.
